City of Lakeland

MIS, Inc. was selected to assist the City of Lakeland with their
PeopleSoft 8.9 Upgrade in the following areas:

- Upgraded PeopleSoft HRMS module from v8.3 to v8.9

- Included HR, Payroll, Time and Labor, Base Benefits

- Implemented Talent Acquisition Manager and Candidate
Gateway

- 2,100 full time employees, 450 part time employees, 695
retirees

Deliverables:

- Assist the current Security Administrator to utilize any new
deliver 8.9 security features.
- Optimize Application Server and Web Logic configuration
files.
- Generate compare reports, set objects to required action
and copy objects
- Run debug conversion scripts that upgrade the first copy of
production
- Modify the Change Assistant project to reflect any new
steps or modifications that might be required to create the first
coy of production
- Assist in updating the PeopleSoft objects with City of
Lakeland customizations and unit test
- Assist in updating deliver and custom SQR’s with City of
Lakeland customizations and unit test.
- Implement Talent Acquisition Manager and Candidate
Gateway and provide documentation on how to utilize the
process.

- Senior Level Technical and Functional Resources:
- Provided (1) HRMS Functional Resource
- Provided (1) DBA to assist with tuning and set up
- Provided (1) HRMS Technical Resource
- Provided (1) Security Administration Resource
