Situation:
The University of Missouri needed to be able to reach out to
other regions of the country as well as other countries to
advertise their openings for faculty and staff. They also needed
a more streamlined approach to recruiting and less data entry
into their current PeopleSoft HCM System.
Solution:
The University of Missouri was already utilizing PeopleSoft’s
HRMS modules. PeopleSoft’s Talent Acquisition Management
Module provided the ideal solution. It provides the ability to
manage all of the functions carried out in their employment
office, including:
Creating job requisitions
Identifying the qualified applicants through the screening
process
Selecting suitable candidates
In addition, to Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM) UM needed an
online application process. The Candidate Gateway (CG) fulfills
that requirement and flows seamlessly into the Talent
Acquisition Manager and then subsequently after hiring a new
employee or faculty the data flows to the HCM System.

applicants with open requisitions.
Provides a place to capture applicant detailed data about each
applicant including personal data and preferences such as
willingness to travel, relocate and minimum salary
requirements. You can also track prior work experience,
education, training, references and skills.
